3.11.1 Changing the energy increment

The energy increment can be changed by selecting the ``Enter new increment'' option from the popup menu. In the IRIS specific version, a 1 line window will be displayed at the bottom of the screen prompting the user for an energy increment, entered in 10ths of a kcal/mol. In the X11 version, the prompt appears in the window shell from which the program is running. After the user enters a number and presses the ``return'' key, the dot plot will be redrawn using the new energy increment. Base pairs that have already been found in previously computed structures, as well as base pairs within a distance ``window size'' (3.4-5) of these base pairs, will not be plotted when the dot plot is redrawn. This allows the user to select base pairing regions different from those that have already been found.
